A consultation will determine how effective
lightening removal will be for you. A small test patch will be treated
by re-tattooing with a removers solution, which draws the pigment
to the surface of the skin.
A scab will form, which must not get wet or be
picked off otherwise scarring may occur. Over the next week the
skin will scab and heal over. Once the skin has completely healed
you will see the extent of the lightening and you can then decide
whether to go ahead with the treatment or whether to seek alternative
removal methods.
There is no pattern to identify which tattoos
will respond and which won’t, so it can only be determined
with a consultation. Lightening removal has been effective on both
semi-permanent and permanent facial and body tattoos.
